Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, dry, non-flammable surface.

  1. Position charger: Ensure adequate ventilation; keep away from battery during connection.
  2. Connect AC power: Plug power cord into grounded 120V outlet. Do not turn on yet.
  3. Prepare battery: Ensure battery is in well-ventilated area. Clean terminals if corroded.
  4. Connect DC clamps: Follow connection procedure in Connecting to Batteries section.

WARNING! Risk of explosive gases. Work in well-ventilated area. Wear eye protection. Keep sparks and flames away.

First-Time Setup

Power on charger; follow display prompts.

  1. Select battery type: Press MODE button to cycle through AGM, GEL, or STD (Standard WET).
  2. Select charge rate: For normal charging, use default (automatic). For fast charge, press and hold MODE for 3 seconds.
  3. Connect to battery: Attach red clamp to positive (+) terminal, black clamp to negative (-) terminal or grounded chassis point.
  4. Start charging: Charger will begin automatically after detecting proper connection.

CAUTION! Always connect clamps to battery before plugging into AC outlet for spark-proof operation.

Controls and Settings

Access functions via front panel buttons and digital display.

Front Panel: POWER button, MODE selector, ENTER/CONFIRM button, Display.

Display Indicators: Battery icon (charge status), Voltage/Amperage readout, Battery type icon, Error codes.

Settings Menu: Press and hold MODE for 5 seconds to access advanced settings: Charge rate limit, Float voltage adjustment, Desulfation cycle duration. Default settings are suitable for most applications.

Connecting to Batteries

For 12V automotive, marine, motorcycle, ATV, lawn tractor batteries.

  1. Ensure charger is unplugged from AC outlet.
  2. Connect red clamp to positive (+) battery terminal.
  3. Connect black clamp to negative (-) battery terminal or clean, unpainted metal on chassis.
  4. Plug AC cord into outlet. Charger will perform self-test and begin charging if connection is correct.

Tip: For batteries still installed in vehicle, disconnect negative cable from battery if possible to protect vehicle electronics.

Charging Process

Fully automatic multi-stage charging.

  1. Bulk Stage: Constant current charge until battery reaches approximately 80% capacity.
  2. Absorption Stage: Constant voltage charge to top off battery to 100%.
  3. Float Stage: Maintains battery at full charge without overcharging.
  4. Desulfation Mode: If enabled, sends pulses to break down sulfate crystals on plates.
  5. Completion: Display shows "FULL" or "100%". Charger switches to maintenance mode automatically.

WARNING! Do not disconnect clamps while charger is actively charging. Turn off or unplug first.

Maintenance Mode

After full charge, charger enters float/maintenance mode indefinitely to keep battery ready.

Features: Monitors battery voltage, provides small charge if voltage drops below threshold, prevents overcharging. Ideal for seasonal vehicles, boats, or infrequently used equipment.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug and disconnect from battery before cleaning. Wipe exterior with dry cloth. Keep vents clear of dust.

CAUTION! Do not immerse in water or use liquid cleaners. Store in dry location.
