Safety Precautions

Read all instructions before use. For lead-acid batteries only.

  1. Work in well-ventilated area: Batteries produce explosive gases.
  2. Wear eye protection: Shield eyes when working near batteries.
  3. Remove jewelry: Avoid short circuits.
  4. Check battery condition: Do not charge damaged, leaking, or frozen batteries.
  5. Disconnect AC power before connecting/disconnecting clamps.

WARNING! Risk of explosion or acid burn. Follow instructions precisely. Keep away from children.

First-Time Setup

Unpack charger and inspect for damage.

  1. Select battery type: Use switch to select Standard, AGM, or Gel.
  2. Connect to battery: Ensure battery terminals are clean. Connect RED clamp to positive (+) terminal, BLACK clamp to negative (-) terminal.
  3. Connect to power: Plug AC cord into 120V outlet.
  4. Charger will automatically detect voltage and begin charging sequence.
  5. Monitor digital display for charge status.

CAUTION! Never connect clamps to each other. Ensure proper polarity.
