Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Wire cutters/strippers
- Safety glasses
- Voltage meter
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a dry, well-ventilated area on a level surface away from sparks or flames.
- Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and inspect the unit for any shipping damage.
- Position the Unit: Place the wheeled battery charger on a stable, flat surface with wheels locked.
- Connect Power Cord: Plug the unit into a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
- Battery Connection: Connect red clamp to positive (+) battery terminal, black clamp to negative (-) terminal or grounded metal.
- Select Charge Mode: Choose appropriate charge mode based on battery type (standard, AGM, gel, deep cycle).
- Initial Test: Start the charging process and monitor for proper operation and connection.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Charger won't turn on | Power issue, blown fuse, thermal shutdown | Check power supply, replace fuse, allow unit to cool |
| Not charging battery | Poor connections, dead battery, wrong mode | Check clamps and connections, test battery, select correct mode |
| Overheating | High ambient temperature, blocked vents, overload | Move to cooler area, ensure ventilation, reduce charge rate |
| Error codes displayed | Reverse polarity, bad battery, internal fault | Check connections, test battery, consult manual |
| Engine start not working | Weak battery, poor connections, safety timeout | Ensure battery has some charge, clean terminals, wait 3 minutes |
| Display flashing | Low voltage, bad connection, fault condition | Check battery voltage, ensure good contact, reset charger |
Error Codes
- E1: Reverse polarity - Check and correct battery connections
- E2: Battery voltage too low - Battery may be dead or damaged
- E3: Battery voltage too high - Disconnect and check battery
- E4: Charger overheating - Allow to cool, ensure ventilation
- E5: Output shorted - Check for short circuits in cables
- E6: Internal fault - Contact service center
