Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before use. Use in well-ventilated area.

  1. Wear eye protection and avoid leaning over battery.
  2. Do not charge frozen or damaged batteries.
  3. Ensure area is free of flames, sparks, and flammable materials.
  4. Connect to battery before plugging into AC outlet.
  5. Disconnect AC power before removing clamps from battery.

WARNING! Risk of explosive gases. Battery acid can cause severe burns. Keep out of reach of children.

Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure battery is in a stable, dry location.

  1. Prepare battery: Clean terminals if corroded. Remove battery caps (if applicable) to vent gases.
  2. Connect clamps: RED clamp to POSITIVE (+) terminal. BLACK clamp to NEGATIVE (-) terminal or grounded metal.
  3. Plug in charger: Insert AC plug into 120V outlet. Charger will automatically detect battery voltage.
  4. Monitor LEDs: Refer to indicator chart for charging status.

CAUTION! Never connect clamps in reverse order. Ensure firm connection to terminals.

Charging Procedure

Automatic charging for 6V/12V batteries.

  1. Ensure battery is in a safe, ventilated location.
  2. Connect clamps: Red to positive (+), black to negative (-).
  3. Plug charger into AC outlet. POWER LED will light.
  4. CHARGING LED will light (red) while battery is charging.
  5. When battery reaches full charge, CHARGING LED turns off and MAINTENANCE LED lights (green).
  6. Charger will maintain battery indefinitely in float mode.
  7. To disconnect: Unplug AC power first, then remove black clamp, then red clamp.

Tip: For deeply discharged batteries, charging may take several hours to complete.

Maintenance Mode

After full charge, charger switches to float/maintenance mode automatically.

Note: Periodically check battery and connections during extended maintenance.

Care & Storage

Unplug and disconnect before cleaning. Store in dry, cool place.

  1. Wipe charger with dry cloth; do not use liquids or solvents.
  2. Inspect clamps and cords for damage before each use.
  3. Coil cords loosely for storage; avoid kinks or sharp bends.
  4. Store in original box or protective case if available.

Troubleshooting
