Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before use. Charger contains electrical parts that can cause serious injury or death.

  1. Use only with 12V lead-acid batteries. Do not use with non-rechargeable batteries.
  2. Ensure area is well-ventilated. Batteries generate explosive gases.
  3. Wear eye protection and avoid leaning over battery during connection.
  4. Do not expose charger to rain, snow, or liquids.
  5. Disconnect AC power before making or breaking battery connections.

WARNING! Risk of explosive gases. Keep sparks, flames, and cigarettes away from battery. Connect and disconnect clamps carefully.

Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place charger on stable, dry surface away from battery.

  1. AC Connection: Plug power cord into standard 120V AC, 60Hz outlet.
  2. Battery Connection: Ensure battery is in vehicle with ignition OFF. Connect RED clamp to POSITIVE (+) terminal first, then BLACK clamp to NEGATIVE (-) terminal or vehicle chassis ground.
  3. Power On: Charger will automatically begin diagnosis and charging sequence.
  4. Charging Complete: LED will indicate full charge. Disconnect BLACK clamp first, then RED clamp.

CAUTION! Never connect charger cables directly to vehicle accessories or circuits. Connect only to battery terminals.

Specifications

Controls and Indicators

LED Status Display: Located on top of charger unit.

LED Indicators:

Automatic Features: No manual controls. Charger automatically detects battery condition and selects appropriate charge mode.

Charging Procedure

For optimal performance, follow these steps:

  1. Prepare battery: Ensure battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion.
  2. Connect AC: Plug charger into wall outlet. POWER LED should illuminate solid green.
  3. Connect battery: Connect RED clamp to positive (+) terminal first, then BLACK clamp to negative (-) terminal or chassis ground.
  4. Charging begins: CHARGING LED will light solid red. Charger will diagnose battery and begin multi-stage charging.
  5. Monitoring: Charger automatically progresses through stages. No user intervention required.
  6. Completion: When FULL LED lights solid green, charging is complete and maintainer mode is active.
  7. Disconnect: Unplug AC power first. Remove BLACK clamp, then RED clamp from battery.

Tip: For deeply discharged batteries, charging may take 12-24 hours. Charger will automatically adjust charge time based on battery condition.

Maintenance Mode

After full charge is reached, charger automatically switches to Float/Maintenance mode.

Note: Ideal for vehicles, boats, motorcycles, and lawn equipment in storage.
