Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before use. Use in well-ventilated area.

  1. Wear eye protection and avoid leaning over battery during connection.
  2. Do not charge frozen or damaged batteries.
  3. Ensure charger is unplugged from AC outlet before connecting to battery.
  4. Connect clamps to battery terminals first (RED to positive+, BLACK to negative-), then plug into AC outlet.
  5. Keep charger dry; do not expose to rain or moisture.

WARNING! Risk of explosive gases. Keep sparks, flames, and smoking materials away from battery. Do not disassemble charger.

First-Time Setup & Operation

Unpack charger and inspect for damage. Verify battery type and voltage compatibility.

  1. Prepare battery: Ensure battery is in a well-ventilated area. Clean terminals if corroded.
  2. Connect clamps: Attach RED clamp to positive (+) terminal, BLACK clamp to negative (-) terminal.
  3. Plug in: Insert AC power cord into 120V, 60Hz outlet.
  4. Monitor LEDs: Charger will automatically detect voltage and begin charging sequence.
  5. Disconnect: When charging is complete (GREEN LED solid), unplug AC cord, then remove clamps from battery.

CAUTION! Always connect/disconnect in the correct sequence to prevent sparks.

Specifications

Controls and Indicators

Unit features LED indicator lights to display status.

LED Indicators:

Note: No manual controls; operation is fully automatic once connected.

Charging Procedures

For standard charging of discharged batteries.

  1. Ensure battery is in a safe, stable location.
  2. Connect clamps securely to clean battery terminals (RED to +, BLACK to -).
  3. Plug charger into AC outlet. RED LED will flash indicating charging has started.
  4. Charger automatically switches through stages. When GREEN LED lights solid, charging is complete.
  5. To disconnect, unplug from AC outlet first, then remove clamps from battery.

Tip: For deeply discharged batteries, charger may take several hours to complete. If RED/GREEN fault lights appear, check connections and battery condition.

Maintenance Mode

After full charge, charger enters Float/Maintenance mode to keep battery at optimal voltage without overcharging.

WARNING! Always monitor battery periodically. Disconnect if battery becomes hot or shows signs of damage.

Care & Storage

Unplug and disconnect from battery before cleaning. Wipe with dry cloth only.

  1. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  2. Coil cables neatly to prevent damage.
  3. Inspect cables and clamps periodically for wear or corrosion.

CAUTION! Do not immerse in water or use chemical cleaners. Keep ventilation openings clear.
