Specifications

Controls and Indicators

Access functions via front panel buttons. Display shows real-time information.

Display Icons: Battery symbol (flashing when charging), Error (E- codes), Mode indicators (CHARGE, START, MAINTAIN).

Buttons: MODE (cycles through modes), BATTERY TYPE (selects chemistry), ENTER (starts selected operation).

Status Lights: Green (charging/maintaining), Red (error/fault), Yellow (battery detection).

Error Codes: E1 (reverse connection), E2 (bad battery), E3 (overheat), E4 (over voltage).

Charging Procedure

For 12V lead-acid batteries (automotive, marine, motorcycle, lawn equipment).

  1. Preparation: Turn off vehicle and all accessories. Clean battery terminals.
  2. Connection: Connect RED clamp to positive (+) terminal, BLACK clamp to negative (-) terminal or grounded metal.
  3. Power: Plug charger into 120V AC outlet. Display will light up.
  4. Selection: Press BATTERY TYPE to match battery chemistry. Press MODE to select CHARGE.
  5. Start: Press ENTER. Charger will analyze battery and begin automatic multi-stage charging.
  6. Monitoring: Display shows progress. Charger automatically switches to float/maintain when full.
  7. Disconnect: Unplug AC cord first, then remove BLACK clamp, then RED clamp.

Tip: For deeply discharged batteries, charger may take several minutes to detect voltage before beginning charge cycle.

Maintenance Mode

Use for long-term battery storage (winter, seasonal vehicles).

  1. Connect clamps to battery as in charging procedure.
  2. Plug into AC outlet.
  3. Press MODE until "MAINTAIN" appears on display.
  4. Press ENTER to start.
  5. Charger will maintain battery at optimal voltage indefinitely.

Note: Maintenance mode provides float charge only when needed. Can be left connected for months safely.

Care & Storage
