Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before use. Contains lead-acid battery chemicals.

  1. Use in well-ventilated area: Batteries generate explosive gases.
  2. Wear eye protection: Shield eyes when working near batteries.
  3. Check battery type: Only charge 12V lead-acid, AGM, or gel-cell batteries.
  4. Avoid flames/sparks: Keep away from battery during charging.
  5. Disconnect AC power: Before connecting or disconnecting battery clamps.

WARNING! Risk of explosive gases. Do not charge frozen or damaged batteries. Keep children away.

Getting Started

Unpack charger and inspect for damage. Verify battery type and voltage.

  1. Prepare battery: Clean terminals if corroded. Remove battery caps if applicable.
  2. Connect charger: FIRST connect red clamp to positive (+) terminal, then black clamp to negative (-) terminal or chassis ground.
  3. Plug into AC outlet: Use grounded 120V outlet. Digital display will illuminate.
  4. Select mode: Choose charge or maintain based on battery condition.
  5. Monitor: Display shows progress; charger automatically completes cycle.

CAUTION! Connect clamps in correct order to prevent sparks. Ensure secure connections.

Specifications
