Charging Procedure

Follow these steps for safe and effective charging.

Preparation: Ensure battery is in a well-ventilated area. Check electrolyte levels (if applicable).
Connection: Plug AC cord into outlet. Connect RED clamp to battery positive (+) terminal. Connect BLACK clamp to negative (-) terminal or clean, unpainted metal ground.
Initiation: CHARGING LED will light. Charger will begin analysis and select charge mode.
Monitoring: Charger automatically progresses through bulk, absorption, and float stages.
Completion: When COMPLETE LED lights, battery is charged. Charger maintains float voltage.
Disconnection: Unplug AC cord first. Remove BLACK clamp, then RED clamp.

Tip: For deeply discharged batteries, charging may take several hours. Leave connected until COMPLETE LED illuminates.

Maintenance Mode

After full charge, charger switches to float/maintenance mode.

Maintains optimal voltage to prevent sulfation and overcharging.
Can be left connected indefinitely for seasonal storage (e.g., boats, motorcycles).
CHARGING LED will blink slowly in this mode.

Note: For long-term storage, check battery and charger monthly.

Care & Storage

Troubleshooting
