Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before use to prevent injury or damage.

  1. Use in well-ventilated area away from sparks or flames.
  2. Wear eye protection when working near batteries.
  3. Do not charge frozen or damaged batteries.
  4. Ensure charger is unplugged before connecting/disconnecting clamps.
  5. Connect red clamp to positive (+) terminal first, then black to negative (-) or ground.

WARNING! Risk of explosive gases. Keep charger away from battery during charging. Do not smoke or use open flame near battery.

Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure charger is on stable, dry surface.

  1. Select location: Dry, level surface with good ventilation.
  2. Prepare battery: Clean terminals if corroded. Remove caps from flooded batteries (if applicable).
  3. Connect charger: Plug AC cord into outlet AFTER connecting clamps to battery.
  4. Verify connection: LED should illuminate indicating proper connection.

CAUTION! Do not connect to AC power before attaching to battery. Ensure clamps do not touch each other or metal surfaces.

Operation: Fully automatic - no user controls beyond connection.

Charging Procedure

Follow these steps for safe and effective charging.

  1. Prepare: Turn off vehicle and all accessories. Ensure battery terminals are clean.
  2. Connect: Attach RED clamp to positive (+) terminal. Attach BLACK clamp to negative (-) terminal or clean, unpainted metal ground.
  3. Power: Plug AC cord into 120V outlet. POWER LED should illuminate green.
  4. Monitor: CHARGING LED will glow red. Charger will automatically switch to MAINTENANCE mode (green) when complete.
  5. Disconnect: Unplug AC cord first, then remove BLACK clamp, then RED clamp.

Tip: For deeply discharged batteries, charger may take several hours to reach full charge. If FAULT LED lights, check connections and battery condition.

Maintenance Mode

After full charge, charger enters float maintenance mode to prevent overcharging.

Note: For long-term storage, check battery and charger monthly for proper operation.

Care & Storage

Unplug and disconnect from battery before cleaning. Wipe with dry cloth only; do not use liquids or solvents.

Store in cool, dry place. Keep clamps clean and free of corrosion. Coil cord neatly to prevent damage.
