Safety Precautions

  1. Work in well-ventilated area: Batteries produce explosive gases.
  2. Wear protective gear: Safety glasses and gloves recommended.
  3. Disconnect AC power before connecting/disconnecting clamps.
  4. Ensure charger is off before connecting to battery.
  5. Connect positive (red) clamp to positive battery terminal first.
  6. Connect negative (black) clamp to vehicle chassis or negative terminal.
  7. Keep charger dry and away from liquids.

WARNING! Never connect clamps directly together. Do not use with damaged cords or clamps. Keep children away from charger during operation.

Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, dry surface.

  1. AC Connection: Plug charger into grounded 120V AC outlet.
  2. Battery Connection: Ensure battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion.

Charging Procedures

Follow these steps for safe and effective battery charging.

  1. Prepare Battery: Clean terminals, check electrolyte levels (if applicable).
  2. Connect Charger: Red to positive, black to negative/chassis.
  3. Select Mode: Choose appropriate charge rate for battery type and condition.
  4. Monitor: LED indicates charging progress; charger automatically switches to float when full.
  5. Disconnect: Turn charger off, unplug AC, remove black clamp first, then red.

Tip: For deeply discharged batteries, use 2A mode initially to avoid damage.

Engine Start Function

Use 300A boost to start vehicles with dead batteries.

  1. Connect charger to battery following standard procedure.
  2. Select ENGINE START mode.
  3. Turn ignition key to ON position.
  4. Press and hold ENGINE START button for up to 3 seconds.
  5. Attempt to start vehicle while holding button.
  6. Release button immediately after engine starts.
  7. Disconnect charger following proper sequence.

WARNING! Do not operate engine start function for more than 3 seconds continuously. Allow charger to cool for 3-5 minutes between attempts. Ensure vehicle is in Park/Neutral with parking brake engaged.

Maintenance & Storage

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Cleaning: Wipe exterior with dry cloth; keep ventilation openings clear.
  2. Clamp Care: Clean clamp contacts regularly; check for damage.
  3. Cord Inspection: Examine AC and DC cords for cuts or fraying.
  4. Storage: Store in dry location at room temperature.
  5. Battery Maintenance: Check charger connections to battery every 6 months.

CAUTION! Do not immerse in water or use solvents for cleaning. Store with cords neatly coiled to prevent damage.
