Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before use. Charger produces hydrogen gas—keep away from flames/sparks.

  1. Use in well-ventilated area. Do not cover charger during operation.
  2. Wear eye protection. Avoid touching eyes after handling battery acid.
  3. Do not charge frozen or damaged batteries.
  4. Disconnect AC power before connecting/disconnecting battery clamps.
  5. Connect positive (red) clamp to positive battery terminal first.

WARNING! Risk of explosive gases. Battery acid can cause severe burns. Keep out of reach of children.

Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure area is dry and well-ventilated.

  1. Place charger on stable, non-flammable surface near battery.
  2. Verify battery voltage (6V or 12V). Charger will auto-detect.
  3. Set Charge Rate: 10A for faster charge, 2A for small batteries or maintenance.
  4. Connect AC power cord to grounded 120V outlet.
  5. Connect clamps: RED to positive (+), BLACK to negative (-) terminal.
  6. Monitor digital display for status.

CAUTION! Never connect clamps to each other. Ensure firm clamp connection to terminals.

Specifications

Controls and Indicators

Front Panel: Digital Display, Charge Rate Switch (10A/2A), Power Button, LED Indicators.

Digital Display Codes: "6V" or "12V" (detected voltage), "CHG" (charging), "FUL" (fully charged), "ERR" (error).

LED Indicators: POWER (green), CHARGING (flashing amber), COMPLETE (solid green), FAULT (red).

Charge Rate Switch: Select 10A for standard charging (car, truck, SUV batteries). Select 2A for small batteries (motorcycle, lawn mower) or long-term maintenance.

Charging Procedures

Follow steps for safe and effective charging.

  1. Ensure battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion.
  2. Set Charge Rate switch to desired amperage (10A or 2A).
  3. Plug AC cord into outlet. POWER LED illuminates.
  4. Connect clamps: RED to positive (+), BLACK to negative (-).
  5. Display will show detected voltage and "CHG". CHARGING LED flashes.
  6. Charger automatically switches to maintenance mode when full ("FUL" display, COMPLETE LED solid).
  7. To disconnect: Unplug AC power, then remove BLACK clamp first, then RED.

Tip: For deeply discharged batteries, 2A setting may be required to initiate charge.

Maintenance Mode

After full charge, charger automatically enters float/maintenance mode to keep battery at optimal voltage without overcharging.

Note: For long-term storage, check battery and charger periodically.

Care & Storage

Unplug and clean after each use. Store in cool, dry place.

  1. Wipe exterior with dry cloth. Do not use liquids or solvents.
  2. Inspect clamps and cords for damage before storage.
  3. Coil cords loosely; avoid sharp bends.
  4. Store in original box or protective case if available.

CAUTION! Do not expose to rain or moisture. Do not store near heat sources.
